Situated off a small lane surrounded by a charming garden in the countryside not too far from the nearby market town, this property offers peace and seclusion without being remote.

Set back from the lane on a private drive the house, terrace and conservatory look south across the garden. There are ample grounds surrounding the house with mature plants and trees offering a welcome corner of shade for lazing outside on those sunny afternoons.

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating, sit out on the sunny terrace, retreat to the conservatory or eat inside. If you really don’t fancy to cook for yourselves, then take a short drive into town or turn left into the lane and drive across to the village of Sourzac where you can eat a splendid meal at a reasonable price in the restaurant Les Roches des Gourmets. After eating you can wonder across to the old church or visit the many exhibitions by local artists which take place throughout the summer. Wonder down through the village to the river and enjoy the view.

The nearby market town of Mussidan has everything you might need, from supermarkets, banks and shops to cafes and restaurants. Try the Auberge du Musee at the far end of the town opposite the museum of the past by the town park.
