Directions
You can pick up your hire car at the airport or the TGV train station. At the airport the major companies are there, Hertz, Europcar, and Avis.

You can expect to pay from £169 for a small car for a week and £292 for a larger car for 5 people..
Driving in France is easy with usually less traffic on the roads, especially here in the Dordogne.

If coming from the UK and crossing France on the autoroutes there are frequent and very good Aires de Service where you can take a break.
Whether using a GPS or reading a map you should pay attention to the road signs and follow the towns names rather than looking for road numbers.

Even with a GPS you want to follow the ‘Toute Directions’ panel to avoid going through the town centre.
